WHAT WE

BELIEVE

We want you to know God has a purpose for you. You can find out more about God's purpose for you below.

Statement of Belief

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in the 1963. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.

God loves you and offers you abundant and eternal life.

God's Purpose

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

People are sinful and separated from God and the life He offers.

Our need

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

Romans 6:23 - "For wages of sin death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him you can come to God and have the life He offers.

God's Provision

John 14:6 - "Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

1 Peter 3:18 - "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit."

We must receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through personal invitation.

Our Response

John 1:12 - "But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."

Revelation 3:20 - "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me."

We Aspire...

To be a dynamic spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to teach, baptize, and disciple as many people as possible (Matthew 28:18-20)

To help members realize their spiritual gifts and encourage them to use these gifts in the sharing of Christ (1 Corinthians 12)

To be a Church who purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment to the lordship of Christ (1 Thessalonians 2:1-13)

To help members grow in knowledge of God and man through Church programs of Bible teaching, training and education (Acts 2:42-45)

To encourage members to support the ministry of this Church, Baptist association, and convention through personal stewardship (Luke 6:38)
